MAS TIP:
Leave your departure date/time open since there is no certain time frame to get your passport back.

People who have been arrested or convicted of any crimes in the U.S. will more than likely face a delay in getting the U.S. visa stamped even if it has been cleared. Those who have an alcohol related offense will need to go for a special medical exam in Cd. Juarez.

The security check is also known as a "name check". This question only refers to those who have had to go through this while going for the U.S. visa anywhere in the world.

NON-REFUNDABLE FEES/PAYMENTS

Every payment for the MAS Transportation or I 94 Service that is received by Mexico Assistance Services includes a $75.00 non-refundable deposit/payment per adult applicant and $20.00 per child dependent. This is to reserve your seat on the MAS Shuttle Van for your appointment date(s) and cover any time/labor cost incurred by MAS while preparing your trip.

If you need to cancel your ASC/USC appointment(s), please notify MAS within 3 business days from your ASC appointment to receive the remaining portion of your initial payment minus the non-refundable deposit.

RESCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH MAS:

NO REFUND ISSUED:

You can reschedule your appointment with MAS at any time within 1 year from the date of the initial appointment and pay no additional fees for transportation if no remaining balance (initial payment amount - deposit = remaining balance) refund was issued. Full payment will be required once again if rescheduling your appointment after 1 year from the date of the initial visa appointment or if a partial refund was issued.

PARTIAL REFUND ISSUED:

You can reschedule any time. You must pay the full current MAS rate once again.
